Erm, where to start? I guess this post has three issues to address really and where better to start than to say thank-you. Footballmanager.net has voted Pitchside “Site of the Month” and awarded some of the articles and guides the honour of being the best content of the month too. Not bad for a small site in a big community in my (slightly biased) opinion. Thank-you, Rob, it’s appreciated and certainly makes the work seem worthwhile. I’d also like to thank everyone who’s visited the site since it opened (over 5,000 hits in two months – and I didn’t have to criticise Throw-In to achieve it), hopefully you’ve been entertained and informed.

Next comes the apology. That’s right I’m sorry, genuinely so, for the lack of updates and activity over the last week or two but I’ve had some pressing real-life issues to deal with and in all honesty I just didn’t have the motivation or desire to write articles for a website. Fear not though, there are articles in the pipeline again (including the continuation of the Player Development and Decline series) and new content should be up by Monday at the latest.

Finally a little bit of news for you all – Pitchside will be moving to the FootyGamer Network in the not too distant future, so you’ll all need to redirect your bookmarks to the new site. When will it happen? Lord knows. Once I’ve got to grips with the teccy side of things and got everything moved across is the best answer I can give, though how long that will take is anyone’s guess.

And that’s pretty much it for now. Thanks again and watch for the content coming soon.
