What is Pitchside?

Pitchside is a blog which has been established with the intention of primarily discussing Sports Interactive’s Football Manager series of games, although real life football issues may make the occasional appearance from time to time.

Why Pitchside?

Football Manager and Sports Interactive’s previous title Championship Manager, have inspired a large number of fansites, the majority of which provide guides, articles and downloadable content. Having grown dis-illusioned with the traditional fansite and the inter-site arguments, the decision was taken to create Pitchside.

What will Pitchside offer?

The aim is to offer written content to help, advise, and hopefully entertain readers. Much of this will be generated by my own personal FM experience, whether it be my tactical theories and blunders, or my latest career game. I’ll also be looking at FM in more general terms and from time to time there will be a look at football in the real world (especially if it can be linked into FM somehow).
